Fishing is productive both from the shore, which is easily accessible, and from boats and tubes. Fishing for carp in Grootdraai Dam is similar to carp fishing in the Vaal dam, with flaoties and boilies being most productive. Fishermen have also reported good catches with brown bread and egg, as well as mielie pap flavoured with curry. |
