| Ingredients |
| 1 kg Chic-Chic nr 1 mealies |
| 7 Cups warm water |
| 1 ½ teaspoons of green florescene powder |
| 1 teaspoon egg yellow powder |
| Method |
| Add the water to a plastic bowl and stir powder in until it dissolves. Add the mealies while you stir. Cook the mealies in the microwave for 15 minutes. |

| Plain Feed(Fine Texture) |
| Ingredients |
| 1 kg Chic-Chic nr 1 mealies |
| 7 Cups warm water |
| 1 ½ teaspoons tartrazine powder |
| Method |
| Add the water to a plastic bowl and stir in the tartrazine powder in until it is completely dissolved. Add the mealies while stirring. Cook the mealies in the microwave for 15 minutes. |

| Plain Feed(Coarse Texture) |
| Ingredients |
| 6 Cups crushed mealies |
| 2 Teaspoons sugar |
| Lukewarm water |
| Method |
| Add mealies in a large pot. Add the sugar and stir. Add the lukewarm water, just enough to cover the mealies. Cook slowly over low heat for 1 ½ - 2 hours while stirring occasionally. |

| Plain Feed(Extra Fine Texture) |
| Ingredients |
| 2 Cups maize meal |
| 1 Cup cake flower |
| 1 Cup beesmeel |
| Method |
| Add all ingredients in a bowl. At the dam use amount of dough mixture (as needed) and mix with dam water while stirring until it is a stiff dough. |
| Tip |
| Add honey or condensed milk for flavour or to bound the feed better. |

| Sweet Feed |
| Ingredients |
| 2 Cups maize meal |
| 1 Cup cake flower |
| 1 Can Condensed milk |
| Method |
| Add the maize meal and flour in a bowl and stir. Add enough condensed milk and stir until the mixture is well bound. |
| Tip |
| This should be performed at the fish water. In the place of condensed milk, honey or molasses syrup can also be used. |
