In the hustle and bustle of life it is hard to imagine that there are places of exceptional calm and tranquility. Such a place is Bass Lodge, situated between Klerksdorp and Wolmaranstad in the North West province. It consist of five self-catering chalets near the waters edge and one luxury chalet further from the water. Fountains originating on the farm feed the three clear dams at Bass Lodge, making fishing from the grass covered banks a real joy. Apart from bigmouth black bass, the dams also contain florida bass, blue kurper and vlei kurper (catch and release). |
